We do not share numbers, weights, calories, specific eating-disorder behaviors, and/or any comparative value.
We are careful not to name specific foods to which the eating disorder has ascribed fear. It is okay to say “a food that the eating disorder labels as a fear food,” but do not state the name of the food.
We believe that all foods fit. The only foods that are not safe foods are foods which are expired or to which you experience a true medical allergy.
We do not compare recovery timelines or measure one person's progress against another's.
Our source of absolute truth is Scripture.
Our group complements, rather than replaces, appropriate clinical care. It is not a substitute for it.
Our group is appropriate for those in outpatient levels of care. It is not appropriate for those who are currently hospitalized or receiving tube feedings, in need of higher levels of care.
I have read the agreements above and commit to abide by the guidelines in order to protect our therapeutic space
